Since then he has acquired a unique blend of management amd technical expertise through formal and continuing education and a wide variety of work experience in positions of ever increasing responsibility. His strong technical background comes from Bachelor and Master degrees in Engineering and related work experience. His management expertise stems from years of practical work experience formalized through an Executive Master of Business Administration degree in International Business. He has worked for all levels of government and in private industry both nationally and internationally. He has served the business and public communities through participation in his professional associations, by organizing and participitating in conferences, by presenting talks and written papers, and through active participation in youth sport groups.
